The people behind your treatment

Our clinical team

A clinic is only as good as the people who treat you. Here is how care is delivered at Dental Med Austria — who does which part of your treatment, the standards they work under, and how we make the clinician responsible for your case visible to you.

A clinic is only as good as the people who treat you. Here is how care is delivered at Dental Med Austria — who does which part of your treatment, the standards they work under, and how we make the clinician responsible for your case visible to you.

How your treatment is delivered

Dental Med Austria is led by its founder and managing director — a non-clinical role that guides the clinic's strategy and quality standards. Day-to-day treatment is carried out by the clinic's experienced clinical team, working across implantology, All-on-4 and All-on-6, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and veneers.

Founded in 2009 in Tirana, the clinic cares for local and international patients across five languages. We describe the team by the role each person holds on your case rather than by marketing, because what protects a result is the system every clinician works inside — not a single name on a poster.

Who cares for you at each stage

An implant case is never one person's work. These are the roles that combine on your treatment — each responsible for a defined stage, from planning to the maintenance that keeps your result stable for years.

01

Planning & diagnostics

Your case starts with a CBCT scan and a written plan: the tooth or teeth to be treated, the implant system proposed, and any bone work needed, decided before a single instrument is picked up.

02

Implant surgery

Placement is carried out as a dedicated sterile surgical procedure, planned digitally for precision. The operating clinician is named on your plan, and the exact implant placed is recorded in your implant passport.

03

Prosthetics & restoration

Crowns, bridges and full-arch restorations are designed to fit your bite and blend with your smile — the restorative stage that turns a healed implant into a working tooth.

04

In-house dental laboratory

Restorations are crafted in the clinic's own laboratory to ISO 9001 and European quality standards, so the fit and finish of your crown or bridge are controlled in-house, not outsourced out of sight.

05

Orthodontics

Where alignment is part of the plan, braces or Invisalign clear aligners are handled by the orthodontic side of the team, coordinated with any restorative work.

06

Hygiene & maintenance

After treatment, structured hygiene and recall care keep your implant and the tissue around it healthy — the stage that determines how long a good result lasts.

07

Patient coordination

For international patients, a coordinator arranges your consultation, travel and translation in English, German, Italian or French, and stays your point of contact after you return home.

Knowing who treated you

A clinic can have a strong brand while individual operators vary in skill. That is exactly why we tie every case to a named clinician rather than to the brand alone: your written treatment plan states who is responsible for each stage, and your implant passport documents the surgery performed on your case.

Before you decide, you can ask for the operating clinician's implant experience — we would rather answer that question plainly than ask you to trust a logo.

Individual clinician profiles

We publish each clinician's profile — name, training and certifications — only once that team member has confirmed it for publication, and we would rather show nothing here than an unverifiable claim. In the meantime, the clinician responsible for your case is named on your written treatment plan, and their implant experience is available on request before you decide.
