Featured in Love Albania's Dental Tourism Guide
Lovealbania.al, an independent Albanian travel guide, published "Dental Tourism in Tirana (2026): Costs, Best Clinics & Travel Guide" on 13 August 2026. It is written for travellers weighing treatment abroad, and it names a short list of Tirana clinics that work with international patients. Dental Med Austria is one of them, with a profile of its own.
Dental Med Austria is a premium dental clinic that follows Austrian standards and specializes in advanced treatments such as implants and full smile makeovers.
The profile places the clinic at Lake View Residence in Tirana, names implants (All-on-4 and All-on-6), veneers, crowns and orthodontics among its treatments, and files it under a single recommendation: best for premium dental tourism and complex procedures.
The guide also puts numbers on the city, reporting typical Tirana ranges of 400 to 800 euro for a dental implant, 200 to 400 per veneer, 150 to 300 for a crown and 100 to 250 for whitening, and noting that on multi-tooth cases the saving can cover the flights and the hotel. Those are the guide's city-wide figures rather than a quotation from this clinic: we do not price a case before seeing your X-ray, and every plan we send is written and itemised.
Where the guide is most useful is its checklist. Before choosing any clinic in Tirana, it tells readers to compare the dentist's qualifications and experience, the exact implant and material brands used, which diagnostics are included, whether the treatment plan arrives in writing, what aftercare and follow-up are promised, the patient reviews, and the guarantee. Each of those has a documented answer here, collected under Evidence & Proof and set out in full on our premium dental care page.
The rest of the guide is a travel piece, which is rather the point: it calls Tirana compact, well connected to other European cities and easy to explore, and suggests filling the days between appointments with Skanderbeg Square, the cafés of Blloku, the Dajti cable car, the Bunk'Art museums and the New Bazaar. Treatment planned properly leaves room for all of it.
